Hummm, who woulda' ever thunk it?

Nice page you put together for the story as well.

i know with these drug related tales the law enforcement officials
involved normally jack up the market value of the substances they confiscate for some reason.

If my calculations are close, that operation growing at full capacity would yield about 2.5 million a year street value but it was probably sold in larger quanities for a lesser value..

Thanks!

I have no idea why they jack the "street" value of it up. I wonder if they get some sort of "commission" based on what value of drugs they take off of the street? Or maybe the figure that ultimatly it will be sold at small 'street' level volumes and that is the value they use?

These guys must not have been smoking that stuff or they would be sitting around to lazy and wacked out to do all the work required to keep that place going.

Phil yes I got your e-mail. I received those same pictures from 5 other people over the last 3 days also

I am a little hesitant to post them since I am unsure of the origin. The other pictures I talked to someone at the drug task force I they said it wouldn't be a problem.

One thing is for sure, this was a pretty sofisticated operation and interesting it is all in a cave not to far away.

I would love to have that house. That has got to be one of the greatest tornado shelters ever.

I will be watching for the auction, but don't expect me to post about it before hand.

well this is obviously against the notion of drugs bringing down the property value. i would love to know what the place appraises at now. the caves blew my mind. i would love to own a place like that. big brother ougth to just tax em` and leave them alone. i would feel safer around 100 stoners than 100 drunk on JACK D.

I think it had something to do with immigrants they were bringing in to 'harvest' the crop. It could have just as easily been something to do with the electricity they were stealing.

Welcome to the site!

It would certainly seem there would be better ways of 'protecting' society than the current "war on drugs", which is obviously a complete failure. As long as some idiots is willing to smoke iodine, matchheads, and sudafed they will never have a chance.
