FLY FISHERMEN

Postby swampbuck » Mon Mar 31, 2008 10:24 pm

Why do so many of them seem like snobs.

I roll up the trout river, lake or stream with my ultra light spinning gear. And boy do I get some looks. Heck I'm not fishing with corn for gosh sakes. I never learned to fly fish just never had the urge. I do love to fish for trout though. So please don't look down on me because of my chosen method and I won't laugh when your back cast catches a tree.

Nothing wrong with corn especially when fishing for fresh stockers. Heck sometimes it's all that works. :)

And I have 10 jars of various trout power baits.. 8)

But I also fish a lot of steams where it's barbless and artificials only. Thats where I often encounter the fly snobs..
