Wife Shoots Husband In Tennessee Hunting Incident

November 7, 2007

A Tennessee wife shot her husband in a Hardeman County hunting incident that happened Wednesday the 3rd at about 5:00 pm.
Police, sheriff's investigators and emergency personal responded to the shooting off of Neely Road, east of Middleton.

According to the Hardeman County Sheriff's office See Lee Lo, 48, left her husband Xao Lo, 51, at home to go deer hunting on property they owned on Neely road with other hunters.  Xao later decided to join the others hunting on the property.

See Lee was alone in a treestand when she heard movement and fired a single shot in the direction of the sound. When she went to retrieve her deer, she found her husband lying on the ground with a single shot to the spine.

See Lee stayed with her husband applying pressure to the wound until medical help arrived. Xao was stabilized, then flown to Jackson-Madison Hospital where the decision was made to fly him to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville where he was listed in critical condition.
